In 1970 Paolo Mancuso, already in possession of a deep and detailed knowledge of the seed sector, passed down to him by three generations of expert seed producers, founded La Semiorto Sementi, whose headquarters are currently in Sarno, in Southern Italy, in an internationally renowned agricultural area of Campania, the Sarnese-Nocerino area.
Many horticultural varieties, once famous throughout the world, were born in this area, selected over the centuries by the scrupulous work of expert farmers.
The company was established with the aim of promoting the production of seeds of horticultural plants, flowers and aromatic herbs in Campania and in particular in the Agro Sarnese-Nocerino area.
The company, now solidly established, appreciated even outside the national territory, has made professionalism, seriousness and quality the cornerstones of its success.

Its commitment has always been oriented towards the production of superior quality, or rather, qualitative quality, to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers.
Since its inception, Semiorto Sementi has paid particular attention to the maintenance and genetic improvement of its varieties.
The considerable experience accumulated over the years together with the valid collaboration of expert agronomists have allowed us to perfect the qualitative and productive characteristics of the classic Standard varieties. The expectations of farmers are thus rewarded with new selections and/or varieties capable of responding optimally to the demands of national and international markets.
