It is a short day variety that produces uniform, flattened round, white bulbs that generally weight 100/120 g each. The leaves are extremely compact, uniform and deep green. Sowing: for best results it is advisable to sow in August for harvesting in March.

153 BIANCA DI GIUGNO
A late variety. The plant is very vigorous with dark green foliage and produces large, flattened round, white bulbs. Thanks to the excellent bearing of the foliage, this variety is ideal for harvesting in small bunches. SOWING: to avoid pre-flowering, we recommend sowing in October before planting out, or sowing directly outdoors in January-February.

149 RED CREOLE
A tropical medium maturing open pollinated short day red onion with a good yield, suitable for fresh market and home garden. Red Creole is well adapted and very widely planted. Moderate leaf growth habit of medium dark green colour. The bulbs of medium size taste slightly pungent, are firm and round-flat in shape. The outer scale is medium dark red, the rings are tight and red right through to the centre of the bulb. Good storage quality. SOWING: from August until October for harvesting in April until May.

An ideal variety for harvesting in May. The plant is very robust and has dark green leaves. It produces flattish-round bulbs that weigh 180/200 g. Thanks to the robust dark green leaves, this variety is suitable for harvesting in bunches. Sowing: in order to harvest the bulbs in May, sow in September-October.

This is short day variety that reaches commercial maturity a month before the Marzatica variety. As well as being an early variety the bulbs, which are white, sweet and tender, keep well. Each bulb weighs about 100 g and has a diameter of 8 cm. It is an extremely vigorous plant with excellent bearing and dark green foliage. Sowing: ideal for harvesting in February, we recommend sowing in August.

This is a medium-late, intermediate day variety that produces a large, pear-shaped bulb with pale red external tunics and pinkish white internal tunics. Popular for eating fresh as the bulbs are very tender and sweet. It is a variety that does not keep well for long storage. Sowing: in Autumn for planting out in January-February or directly outdoors in January-February for harvesting in June-July.

This is a long day variety although it is fairly early. In fact, about 120 days after sowing in springtime it is ready for consumption. It produces large, yellow, spinning top-shaped bulbs with sweet white flesh. Sowing: in Spring for harvesting in July.

This is one of best long day onion varieties. It is extremely productive and of high quality. It is very vigorous and adapts easily to a variety of different conditions.
