SLICING CUCUMBER

Cucumis melo L.

102 CAROSELLO BARESE

Light green oval fruits, about 10 cm long, with white flesh and coverei with light fuzz. Very productive variety, for progressive harvesting every 2-3 days, suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and outdoors. SOWING: from March to June.

101 LUNGO TORTARELLO

     VERDE SCURO

Creeping plant that produces long finely grooved dark green cucumbers that should be harvested when well developed. Very soft with a pleasant taste, they are ideal for salads. SOWING: in open ground in holes 30-40 cm apart in rows spaced 1 metre apart. Place 2 or 3 seeds in each hole, later thinning out the shoots, Plant from March to June and harvest  from  June until the end of September.

104 CAROSELLO SPUREDDA

      DI LECCE

Dark green, down – covered fruits cylindrical, 10 cm long with white flesh. 
Very productive variety suitable for greenhouse or out in the open cultivation. Fruits are picked every 2-3 days. SOWING: from march to June.

100 LUNGO TORTARELLO

      CHIARO (Cucumis fleuosus)

Creeping variety producing long bright green fruits with light ploughings. The fruits tender and with good taste, are perfect for salads, and they can be cropped when the development is completed. SOWING: in open field, in little  holes from march to june, cm 30/40 on the row and cm 100 between rows, using 2/3 seeds per hole, and thinning out after sprout.
