CABBAGE

Brassica oleracea capitata

     NAPOLI

Early variety. Plant with a short, thin stalk and few outer leaves. Forms a round flattish head of medium size, greenish-grey in colour. SOWING: from October to January for spring harvests. Trasplant about one month after sowing, when seedlings are about 20 cm tall, with intervalsof 30-40 cm between plants and 60 cm between rows.

078 CUOR DI BUE GROSSO

Early variety whit  greyish-green outer leaves and medium-sized heart shaped (conical) ball with a short base. The light-coloured crunchy heart is very firm and compact. SOWING: from May to July for harvesting in autumn-winter. Replanting can be done a month after sowing when the plants are approximately 20 cm high. They should be planted 30/40 cm apart in rows spaced 60 cm apart.

To be sown in seedbed from janurry to july arly variety with short-light green foliage produces an almost spheriacal vegetable. SOWING: to be sown in seedbed from January to july.

     MARKET 2

To be sown in spring summer harvest. Quite early harvest precocious variety, green-grey foliage. Short stalk, produces roundish vegetables weighing 2 to 3 kgs. SOWING: to be sown in seedbed from may to July.

079 CABEZA NEGRA 2

The red cabbage “cabeza Negra” is a mid-precocious variety. It produces smooth leaves which wrap tightly around the mid-dimension and round-shaped ball. It weights kg. 1,5-2, well-tightned, finely ribbed. It is suitable cooked with sauerkraut or minced uncooked in salad. SOWING:In seedbed during the summer period, July-August then transplant after one month, 60 cm between rows and 50 cm between every plant. Harvest in autumn-winter.

076 BRUNSWICK

Late variety with green outer leaves. The plant, which has a short stem, forms a flattish-round head that is very compact and weighs approx 3-5 Kg.  SOWING: in August- September, trasplanting when the plants have developed about 6 leaves. Harvesting in June.
