BEETROOT

Beta vulgaris conditiva

024 EGITTO MIGLIORATA

An early variety that has dark green leaves with purplish-red tinges and red leaf stalks and veins. The root is a flat, rounded shape and the flesh is deep red colour without any white parts whatsoever. SOWING: in row from March to October at a distance of 40 cm along the row, leaving 30 cm between rows.

026 DETROIT 2

An early variety with little foliage. The leaves are small and dark green with red-purplish tinges and red veins. The plant produces a round root with blackish-red flesh. SOWING: in rows from March to October at a distance of 20 cm along the row, leaving 30 cm between the rows.

027 BULL'S BLOOD

Variety with bright, ruby red leaves. The flavour is very sweet, the leaves and the tender and meaty part of the core are eaten. It is rich in calcium, potassium, fiber and vitamin A. SOWING: it can be sown, from March to October, in rows spacing 30 cm between them and 20 cm on the row.
